January is also my birthday month! I've been playing a lil otome gatcha by the name of Love and Deepspace, and even joined a group discord for it...and turns out all of my fellow Aquarians ended up liking the same two characters as me, so I guess us Aquarians must have a type? Are you an Aquarian? Do you play LADS? WHO IS YOUR FAVORITE??? I MUST KNOW. As a little treat to myself I'm going to draw some of my favorite lads for next month...😚 stay tuned for updates on my Discord and other social media.

While we're on the subject of Social Media:

The social media landscape has been chaotic in the last few months, and I'm still grappling with the idea of leaving X/Twitter as it was my primary place of (shit)posting, but the vibes of the place really have gone downhill in recent weeks. Bleh. Going forward I will only post finished art on X/Twitter, and moving to Bluesky for more impersonal day-to-day shenanigans. I love that Bluesky doesn't really have an algorithm, and my feed is actually fully mine. ​My Instagram​ and ​Tiktok​ are also good if you just want to see my art and reels, but Discord/BlueSky are better if you want to get more day-to-day progress and updates.

It's always a goal of mine every year to draw more OC art, and I think I really want to give it a hard push this year and try to make a small book. This is one of my OCs, she used to have a name but has since lost it, so I'm searching for a new one for her.

My online shop is in the middle of getting a much needed update, and I'm aiming for a mid February relaunch! Discord members will get an early access code before the shop officially reopens.
